The legendary hard rock music festival OZZFEST, founded by Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, has just released the full list of its performing artists and a sneak peek at the OZZFEST experience, which fans have been eagerly awaiting.
As the first live music festival ever to venture into the virtual world, OZZFEST will feature headliners such as Ozzy Osbourne, Motorhead, Megadeth, Black Label Society, Skid Row, The Raven Age, and Britoff. Big Dave will serve as the emcee for OzzFest 2022.
As part of the Metaverse Music Festival, OZZFEST will be held on Decentraland from November 10th to the 13th, with its own dedicated land parcel with two stages.
The holders of Ozzy Osbourne’s renowned NFT CryptoBatz will be given special entry to the festival and given free clothing and other goodies.
To get a better view of the performances, owners of CryptoBatz NFTs can “drink a potion,” turn into bats and soar to a special balcony. There will also be complimentary, unique accessories.
The stage for OZZFEST in the metaverse promises to be unrestrained by the constraints of reality, set in a large gothic castle with a giant OZZFEST logo emblazoned on the front, delivering hard rock fans a completely unique one-of-a-kind experience.
Over 50,000 people attended the four-day Decentraland Metaverse Music Festival in 2021, and next year’s event is expected to break records. More than a hundred bands will perform on 15 different stages (including OzzFest), each one carefully chosen to showcase the cutting edge of the metaverse through cutting-edge Web3-enabled immersive music experiences.
Ozzy Osbourne has spoken about introducing OZZFEST to the metaverse following the success of his last record, Patient Number 9. This is a fresh and exciting opportunity for myself and the other musicians performing to connect with our audiences.
As far as we know, OZZFEST is the only virtual Metal/Rock Festival ever held. With such a long list of iconic performers, it’s certain to break new ground for online music festivals. There will be a larger Metaverse Music Festival on Decentraland from November 10th-13th, 2022, of which OZZFEST is a part.

The Decentraland Metaverse Music Festival arrives, and that means 4 days of nonstop dancing and rocking out.
In collaboration with our presenting partner Kraken, you can look forward to a long weekend packed with music from over 200 acts from all over the world, including Björk, Ozzy Ozborne, Motörhead, Soulja Boy, Atarashii Gakko!, Dillon Francis, Breland, Izzy Bizu, Vladimir Cauchemar, and many more.
In addition to the seemingly endless musical performances, #DCLMVMF22 also features a wide variety of exciting new activities. You can always find something to do at this festival since it features a wide variety of activities, from the symbolic Tower of Babel (marking the festival’s theme of global community) to the thrilling chase of “Follow the White Rabbit” to “The Voice” (Metaverse edition), and many more. For those who don’t want the festival to stop, there will be numerous after-parties.
Entry Requirements for This Music Event
If you don’t have a VR headset, you can still attend the #DCLMVMF22 for free. Even though you can get to the festival using your browser, you should check out Decentraland through the Desktop Client if you want a more stable and quick connection and higher-quality visuals. There’ll be a lot going on during the festival, so you won’t want to miss out by only using a browser. Check out this quick introduction to Decentraland if you’ve never been there before.
How to Attend the Music Festival
Maps, similar to the one at the bottom of this piece, have been strategically put around the venue to enable those who may be feeling a little disoriented to find their way.
If you click on the little rabbit in the top left corner of your window, you’ll be sent to an in-world event calendar of festival events, from which you may rapidly hop to the stage for the next show.
DoWow’s distinctive festival walls, which serve as a means of rapid transit between stages, can be seen throughout the building.
Link Up With the Music Festival
When you launch the Nearby chat by clicking the chat button in the bottom left of your screen, you can have a conversation with anyone nearby. The newest addition to Decentraland is Channels, a way to have group discussions on certain topics with people of any location in-world. While at the festival, if you have any questions or want to chat with other attendees, head to the #mvmf channel or #help for assistance.

The Main Stage in Decentraland
Decentraland’s Main Stage, which is put on by the Decentraland Foundation, will have some very exciting acts, but Bjork, who is the festival’s main headliner, will be the most exciting. The Icelandic superstar will end the festival’s Main Stage entertainment with the world premiere of her new music video “Sorrowful Soil” and other surprises for her fans. Make sure you’re at the Main Stage on Nov. 13 at 11 pm UTC to watch the performance.
The Ozzfest Stage
In 2022, as part of the Decentraland Metaverse Music Event, the world-famous metal festival OzzFest, founded by Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, will make its virtual debut in the metaverse.
Fans of Ozzy Osbourne’s famous NFT CryptoBatz will receive free Wearable goods and special VIP viewing access to the festival as airdrops. The stage for OZZFEST in the metaverse claims to be unrestrained by the constraints of reality, set in a large gothic castle with a giant OZZFEST logo emblazoned on the front, delivering heavy metal fans a really unforgettable experience, unlike anything they’ve ever had at a real-world festival.
Limewire Performance Zone
Limewire, a household name in the music industry, will be hosting one of the festival’s main stages, where among other artists you can catch the world premiere of a new music video for Soulja Boy’s “Avatar” directed by Yasha Gruben, who was nominated for a Grammy.
The Dillon Francis Show
Dillon Francis, a famous record producer, and DJ have teamed up with Vegas City to open a state-of-the-art Dillon Francis mega club in the virtual world of Decentraland. The festival will kick off with a special show by Dillon, which will be broadcast on many screens all weekend long at his mega club. In addition, guests can pursue Gerald, Dillon’s iconic piata sidekick, throughout the room while they play Smash the Piata.
Exit Overstage
At the Over the Reality Stage, an exciting fusion of Decentraland and mobile augmented reality is taking place. Check out all the DJ sets in a whole new light with the OVR App, which can be downloaded by scanning a QR code that will be displayed on the OVR stage.
Event: OxArena Stage
During the event, Unpaired, the creators of the Party Degenerates NFT line, will unveil the OxArena, a one-of-a-kind venue that features an outdoor stage, three inside clubs, a concept store, and an NFT gallery. Superf3st, Volta XR, Revealed Recordings, Fold London, and more are just some of the artists whose sets will be organized here.
Stage at MetaTokyo
The stage at MetaTokyo will feature performances by Japanese musical acts and metaverse artists, and there will also be a spectacular installation of a giant dancing doll created by Metaani, an NFT Character, and the legendary Japanese artist Kyary Pamyu Pamyu.
Stage of Random Ravers
The goal of the Random Ravers music brand in the metaverse is to create a fanbase that will forever UNTZ. They’re putting on The Raverse, a four-day gamified music event where people may hear DJs from all around the world, including the United States, Spain, Argentina, and the metaverse.
The stage for Jerry Garcia
This is the official memorial to the pioneer of what is widely considered to be the greatest jam ever. Take in the sights from the Ferris wheel and hot air balloons while listening to the fantastic music and exploring the works of Jerry Garcia.

The OG artists of the Decentraland community are rumored to congregate here for the events that begin at 9 pm UTC each day of the festival.

Tru Band Room/The Rocking’ Uniquehorns
The Decentraland Metaverse Music Festival 2022 will feature the debut of the brand-new TRU Band Room. Like all TRU products, they will include Singing, dancing, and friends, all performed live! Check out the current roster above.

When it comes to up-and-coming musicians, TRU Band Room is the place to be in Decentraland. Since its opening in October 2021, the Band Room has held more than 350 performances spanning rock, hip-hop, jazz, electronic, R&B, pop, and dance.
Jazz Club
Each night during the festival, the famous Jazz Club in the Festival District (recently featured on NBC’s Today show) will hold a jazzy after-party. After a busy day of dancing, stop by to unwind.
